Clarksville is one of the fastest-growing cities in Tennessee, and its pickleball scene is growing with it. Here's where to play, checked against the city, the county and the venues themselves. See the live list.
Free outdoor courts
- Swan Lake Tennis Complex. Four lighted pickleball courts that opened to the public in late 2025. Free, first-come, first-served, and the best bet for an evening game.
- Fredonia Park. Six outdoor courts in Montgomery County's expanded park off Highway 12. The park is open 5 am to 10 pm daily.
Rec center open play
The City of Clarksville runs scheduled indoor open play at three recreation centers. A rec center membership covers all three.
- Crow Recreation Center. Weekday mornings, a Tuesday evening session, and Saturday mornings.
- Burt-Cobb Recreation Center. Monday and Wednesday evenings, Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
- Kleeman Recreation Center. Monday morning and evening, plus Wednesday and Friday mornings.
Exact times are on this week's open play page. Morning sessions tend to be the most beginner-friendly.
